Work Charger Installations
As an OLEV approved Workplace charging scheme installer, Cotswold Car Charge is able to fit chargers at your place of work, taking advantage of the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) that offer any business to receive a £350 grant per socket to install EV charging infrastructure at workplaces for staff and fleet use.
Apply for up to 40 sockets.
As an OLEV approved Workplace charging scheme installer, Cotswold Car Charge is able to fit chargers at your place of work, taking advantage of the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) that offer any business to receive a £350 grant per socket to install EV charging infrastructure at workplaces for staff and fleet use.
The business applied for the grant themselves and is awarded (usually on the same day) by a voucher which is then redeemed by the installer against the cost of the install and charger(s).
Businesses are allowed to apply for up to 40 sockets across all sites. If you apply for less than 40 sockets, you can submit additional applications in the future until you reach that limit.
Working from Home
If your primary place of work is also a residential property (your home), you can apply for the grant under this scheme as long as your address is listed as your place of business with Companies House or HMRC.
Small business owners.
For many small business owners where only a small number of Electric Vehicles are required to be charged, the same chargers that are primarily designed for use at home are also equally suitable for workplace use on a shared basis.
Where more vehicles are required to be charged simultaneously then double socket chargers or chargers that can share the load between several units are more suitable.
