After years of dismissing the idea, Ferrari have confirmed that it's first pure-electric model is planned from 2025.

Speaking at their Capital Markets Day, Ferrari's CEO Benedetto Vigna said that while the firm remains committed to the ICE (internal combustion engine), it expects to build significantly on the arrival of it's first purely electric model.

Ferrari expects about 5% of it's sales to be purely electric by 2026, with Vigna going on to say that ''By 2030, we are then targeting 20% of our offering to be ICE, 40% hybrid and 40% fully electric.

If you were lucky enough to be able to afford a new Ferrari, would you want the roar of a V12 behind you or the whine of an electric motor?
